Herschel Walker was an All-American and won the 1982 Heisman Trophy. Walker set the NCAA freshman rushing record and finishing third in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1980. He would go on to win the Heisman in 1982, his junior year. Walker was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
